Hood to the coast, and a standard insurance company “Standard”) today announced its sponsorship of the first team to service members with disabilities competing in the Oregon Hood original broadcast coast. These men and women who were members seriously wounded in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Sponsors, in collaboration with Disabled Sports USA and the challenged athletes allowed to participate, “sports team combatants” in the Chapel of Costa del relay. The Committee comprises 12 runners, 11 men and one woman, who are amputees, blind, the experience of post-traumatic stress, and severe muscle damage or other physical injuries. Armed with the latest techniques, equipment and even on the session, the service is a member of the brave challenge of 12 other teams 1200 people without disabilities to the competition of his life – harsh Hood to Coast relay race 197 miles.
