Gulf Oil Well is Dead but the Pain will Remain
Well which threw millions of gallons of oil in the Gulf of Mexico is finally dead, but the population will be feeling the pain for years to come.
A cement plug permanently sealed BP well approximately 2.5 miles below the seabed, and painful, five months after an explosion sank the holes, and led to the worst oil spill in the history of the United States abroad.

Said retired Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen, a man in the federal government points to disaster, as well as on Sunday that BP “has died, effectively,” and does not constitute any threat to the Gulf region. Allen said the pressure test to ensure the delivery of cement will be completed at 5:54 pm CDT.
