IBM to Acquire Netezza for $1.7 Billion
Announced that IBM is to get 27 dollars in the Netezza per share, or approximately 1.7 billion dollars to expand its analysis of business initiatives.
Netezza provides analysis in the data storage devices. IBM says that the combined power of companies is the key differences “at a time when organizations of all sizes are looking to gain further information see their work.”
The companies are already strategic partners for years, with the Netezza hardware design and development of IT systems to IBM.
“IBM’s analysis up to the masses,” says Steve Mills, executive vice president and group executive of IBM Software and regulations. “We continue to develop our capabilities to systems integration, and thus both hardware and software optimization, in response to the growing demand for technology that provides real value to business.
