No War with Women Tennis Players says Spanish Federation
There is no “war” between large companies and the Federation of Spanish women over their decision to boycott the FA Cup competition due to lack of support.
Player in Spain ranked in the top, and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez, was among six players who signed a letter stating earlier this week that it will not compete because of the lack of “total support and interest shown by women’s tennis by the association.”
Federation responded by publishing on Saturday a 13-point plan on its Web site, www.rfet.es.
