Tens of Thousands at German Anti-Nuke Demo
Tens of thousands of Germans through Berlin to protest against their government’s decision recently to extend the life of plants in the country’s nuclear energy by about 12 years.
The demonstrators blew whistles and waving flags warning of the risks of nuclear energy in a demonstration Saturday that drew the Germans from all over country to capital.
