Wozniacki Rolls to a Double Bagel at US Open
NEW YORK-Top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki defeated Chiang Kai-Chen of Taiwan 6-0, 6-0 to advance to the third round of the U.S. Open.
Wozniacki needed only 47 minutes in the Arthur Ashe Stadium on Thursday for a “double bread” Zhang. Dane won 52 points to 24 just to compete, and lost only two games in the first game with two in Flushing Meadows.
