Lipitor Recall Due to Strange Smell

The group said in a statement that the recall only refers to a batch of Lipitor 40 mg tablets. The action was initiated after the company received reports of strange odors coming from the bottles in which the pills were packaged.
According to the company, these bottles supplied by third party subcontractor and Pfizer has been the source. This subcontractor name is not revealed in the statement of the company.
