Google Skype Targeted in India Security Crackdown
“The people who work for telecom services in India (you must install the server) in India as well as providing access available to law enforcement agencies,” Minister of the Interior, “said GK Pillai told reporters. “We have made it from RIM BlackBerry, but also to other companies.”
On Monday, India withdrew a threat to ban BlackBerry service for at least two more months after RIM agreed to give security officials “legitimate access” to the encrypted data.
