Los Angeles Activists Protest Police Shooting
Protesters gathered Saturday near the place Los Angeles police officer opened fire on workers in Guatemala today, which was carrying a knife.
Less than one hundred people gathered in the area of the fence, Latino
shopping district to a large extent to the west of the city center. Many of the flags moved from the Central American countries and banners denouncing the shooting death Sept. 5 Jaminez Manuel.
Killed Jaminez (37 years) in the head after a brief encounter with the three officers riding a bicycle, on a street corner. Jaminez police said was drunk and tried to stab passersby, including a pregnant woman, and ignored orders to drop the knife.
